The major use of cationic Guar gum in paper making is at the wet end of the process. Native and cationic Guar gum can effectively be used in writing, printing and news printing papers besides kraft paper and packaging material.
SUNCOS-PG products are specialty polymers designed for use in paper manufacturing. These products are chemically modified derivatives of Guar gum, specifically Guar hydroxypropyl trimonium chloride, obtained by reacting Guar gum with a quaternary ammonium compound.
