At the 27th Carbohydrate Conference of the Association of Carbohydrate Chemists & Technologists (India) (ACCTI) hosted by CSIR-CFTRI at Mysore from 13-15 December 2012, ACCTI/Sunita Hydrocolloids Excellence in Carbohydrate Research (ECR) Award was conferred to Prof. D. Loganathan, IIT Madras, Chennai. The Award carries a cash honorarium of Rs. 20,000, citation and a memento.
