At the 29th Carbohydrate Conference of the Association of Carbohydrate Chemists & Technologists (India) (ACCTI) hosted by Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB) at Mohali, Punjab from 29-31 December 2014, ACCTI/Sunita Hydrocolloids “Excellence in Carbohydrate Research” (ECR) Award was conferred to Prof. Indra Pal Singh Aidhen, Chemistry Department, IIT Madras, Chennai. The Award carries a cash honorarium of Rs. 30,000, citation and a memento.
